To The Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

The Cathedral Parish of St. John the Baptist seeks to proclaim and celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, example, and action, recognizing its location in the heart of St. John’s and its responsibility as the Cathedral of the Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador.

Whether you are local or travelling from afar, we invite you to come visit our Cathedral. Tours are offered during the Summer season and the Cathedral is open during Office Hours throughout the year.

For Public Worship at the Cathedral!

The Sunday morning service is at  11 a.m. This service will be both In-Person and On-Line.  Visit the Worship Page for links to our on-line services.

If you would like to join us in-person for any services at the Cathedral, you must pre-register. Please Pre-register by clicking  here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/o/the-anglican-cathedral-of-st-john-the-baptist-30983123243 or by calling the Cathedral Office at 726-5677. Please also use that link to register for funerals which are open to the public.

Attendance is limited and the registration process includes pre-screening questions. Please note that  kneelers will not be available for use. You are welcome to bring your own, if you like. Masks are mandatory for those 5 and older, unless you are exempted from wearing one.
